Hand-tied bouquets

  1. Unwrap With Care
Remove all outer packaging, but keep the tie around the stems intact – your bouquet is designed to hold its shape.
  2. Trim the Stems
Using clean, sharp scissors or secateurs, trim 1–2 cm from the bottom of each stem at a slight angle. This helps them drink more water.
  3. Choose the Right Vase
Select a clean vase tall enough to support the stems. Fill with fresh, cool water and add the flower food provided.
  4. Remove Any Foliage Below the Waterline
Leaves in the water can shorten the life of your flowers by encouraging bacteria.
  5. Place and Enjoy
Keep your bouquet away from direct sunlight, radiators, or draughts.
Flowers prefer a cool, calm spot.
  6. Refresh Regularly
Change the water every 2–3 days, rinse the vase, and trim the stems each time. This simple step makes a big difference.

Jar Arrangements

  1. Top Up the Water
Your jar arrives ready to display. Just check the water level when it arrives and top up so the stems are always submerged.
  2. Keep It Cool
Place your arrangement in a cool, shaded spot—never near heat sources or bright sun.
  3. Refresh Every Few Days
Carefully hold the flowers at the neck of the jar, pour out the old water, refill with fresh, cool water, and add a little more flower food if available.

General Tips for Longer-Lasting Blooms

  1. Remove Spent Stems
As individual flowers naturally fade, snip them away to keep the whole arrangement looking fresh.
  2. Avoid Ripening Fruit
Fruit releases ethylene gas, which speeds up ageing in flowers. Keep them apart if you can.
  3. Give Them Space
Crowding arrangements or pressing blooms against walls or surfaces can bruise petals.
